About Me
Hi, my name is Jen, and I'm a longtime seamstress. I grew up amidst the quilting revival of the 70s. Some of my first sewing experiences were putting together 9-patch pillows with my mom and her quilting teacher. Now nearly 25 years later, I'm still sewing.
While I still have a fondness for my mom's old Singer, cams and all, I'm thrilled with the direction technology has taken sewing. Sergers, once used only in factories, are now available to the home seamstress. So, too are embroidery machines. It's great fun to be able to recreate projects our grandmothers spent weeks working on in just a matter of days.
