Handmade, hard wood chessboard--padauk, maple, bubinga
A classic chessboard, Creamy maple squares compliment the rich red padauk. An inlay of padauk and maple accents the toasted brown bubinga frame.
No veneer or stains on this board. Squares are made from ½†padauk and ½†maple mounted on plywood, and framed with ¾†bubinga with maple and padauk inlay. The playing area measures 12†x 12†and the entire board measures 16†x 16â€.
The board is finished with tung oil to give it a deep luster and a coat of wax for added protection. Felt is added to the bottom.
